Origin and meaning of Enea
Enea comes from the Greek Aineías, perhaps linked to aínē 'praise'. He is the Trojan hero of Virgil's Aeneid, who fled burning Troy carrying his father Anchises on his shoulders and became the mythical forefather of the Roman people: a symbol of filial devotion and destiny. Rare and solemn, in Italy it is chosen for its epic echo and deep Latin roots.
