Origen y significado de Renato
Renato comes from Latin renatus, 'reborn,' from re- and natus, 'born' — in Christian tradition a reference to spiritual rebirth through baptism. It is therefore a name charged with hope and renewal. Very common in twentieth-century Italy, it also appears in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, and has in French René its most famous cognate. A little less fashionable now, it remains a solid, warm classic, borne by distinguished Italian figures in science, painting and music.
